To Whom it May Concern, In October 2019 I contacted Marcio, from One Stop Construction Group, with regards to assessing termite damage to my home. We had a termite invasion several years ago and one more recently. I had been unable to find anyone who was even willing to come and look at the damage until I found Marcio. He responded very quickly, was straight forward about what the whole process would involve, when and how the work could be completed and how much it would cost.

It was a difficult and tedious job and involved removing a lot of damaged material and replacing it with new termite proof timber and rebuilding the walls so that and ceilings so that now my house is not only structurally sound but also looks as good as new. As the work progressed got to know the small team of people assigned to our job. Everyone was unfailingly polite, happy to explain what they were doing and worked incredibly hard. They made a great effort to be efficient, quiet and tidy and I felt very comfortable to have them in my home. All in all it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience and I would be more than happy to recommend One Stop Construction Group to anyone who values professional work with the personal touch!

HI, Our names are Cheryl and Rod Ham of Golden Beach. It gives us great pleasure in hereby commending and recommending Marcio of One Stop Construction Group. Marcio, both a hands on builder and an experienced manager, co-ordinated the extensive renovation of an old 1970's style, tired, dilapidated, lowset, brick home which we brought in Caloundra at the end of 2012.

At first we attempted to co-ordinate everything ourselves. This was lunacy! We were finding it a nightmare trying to get various contractors out to give us quotes on the multiple renovations which needed to be done. For example. inside, the house needed a new kitchen and bathroom; internal painting; walls opened and closed up in order to re-arrange the internal lay-out to better suit our needs. Outside, the house needed rendering, painting, and a new roof and ceiling in the garage/workshop area. All these renovations necessitated numerous tradesmen, for example: Carpenters: Kitchen firms; Bathroom firms; Flooring firms; Electricians; Plumbers; Plasterers; Painters; Renderers; Roofers; Tilers; Carpet layers; and many more. Marcio did it in less than 3 months what would of taken us much much longer.

When we were at the point that the task of multiple renovations seemed overwhelming, we rang ONE STOP and along came Marcio who said "I'll do it. You take a vacation." And "do it'" he did with an efficiency and dedication to excellence which amazed us; and he did it in record time. What a whizz! And what a relief! We could not imagine that anyone else would have done as quality a job as Marcio did on our house. He also expected nothing less than excellence in those that he contracted to fulfill the various aspects of renovation, and Marcio called most regularly to check on every phase of the job, and then checked on each piece of completed work personally, which if it wasn't done to his standards of excellence, he would see that every last detail was perfect.

To Whom It May Concern, in short, please use Marcio and the One Stop Construction Group team – they are, without doubt, the best builders we’ve ever worked with. They were professional, reliable, on time and their attention to detail was excellent. The whole team worked well, communications were great and the finished job more than we could have ever hoped for.

The long version. My fiancée and I decided to move to Caloundra from Brisbane and found an untouched 1970s timewarp apartment that was just what we were looking for – it had had nothing done to it in nearly 40 years but we could see the potential of the place. We found Marcio via some positive internet reviews and invited him, and other builders, to advise and quote for the renovations prior to signing the purchase contract. Our initial impressions were very good as Marcio was on time, professional and had some very good ideas that we, and the other builders, hadn’t considered. His quote was comprehensive, easy to understand and he was very happy to work with us to agree on a final set of works – we signed the purchase contract and decided to work with Marcio for the renovations.

Prior to completion, Marcio went out of his way to meet with the agent and ourselves to gain access for site meetings, measurements and so forth. There was some reticence on our behalf in signing Marcio as it was a huge investment for us and we wouldn’t be on/near site for the duration of the works but we spoke with previous clients, and Marcio, and went with our gut feel – and that was a very good thing!

Marcio considered the other tenants in the block, worked with the body corporate to secure permission for the works and introduced us to his valued partners (e.g. painting, plumbing, blinds etc) and then co-ordinated all the trades effectively and reliably. Something we’ve never seen a builder do before was to work with us and his suppliers to negotiate the best deal for us – we paid his trade prices, direct to his suppliers and without any additional mark up for himself and this resulted in some large savings for us across the whole build.

Marcio collected the apartment keys on the contract completion date and the demolition team started on time the very next day. If there were any questions, challenges or suggestions Marcio was quick to communicate and presented a good range of solutions – we met him on-site twice during the month long renovation project and were always impressed with the work that had progressed and what was due to happen. The work was completed on time and to a very high standard and the few minor defects were attended to promptly and efficiently. The extra little details that Marcio included off his own back (e.g. impressive shower drain covers, tiling those extra spots, etc) were an added bonus to what was a fabulous job.

We’ve now been living in our new home for 2 months and we’re very happy with the work done by Marcio and his team and can’t recommend him highly enough – you won’t do better. Jane & I are happy to chat with you if you’d like, or to show off the workmanship, but using Marcio is a decision that you will not regret.
